Ray's comment was interesting. Much as you know my intestinal sentiments about Qantas, an airline that I partly own, I flew with them over Virgin when I flew out to Sand Central my-god-I-can't-believe-it's-11-months-ago-now. Why? With Qantas I could (and did) book an Airbus flight, while Virgin is an all-Boeing fleet. Sure, the statistical probability of anything happening if you're Going Boeing is small... but I have just completely lost any faith at all in the company. Except for the F/A18. If I could get my hands on one of those, I'd happily take it to Perth.
