Let's Go See the Big Waves

North Berwick

We are still battered by strong winds and big waves. Just out of shot is where the seawall was damaged by the storm last week.
Now, to take this picture, I was standing about 30 metres back and I still got wet from the sea-spray. This group got drenched.
Note the person in green wellies is holding a toddler. Common sense is anything but common.

Crazy to stand there with a child.
The bloke in the blue hat looks like he is using a camera!

Sometimes the gene pool needs some bleach in it to clean it out. This idiot and his poor kid! Really? (Good shot)

Spectacular shots, Bill. Yep. I'd be standing well back myself. All the best for Christmas mate. BV

Great capture but with some misgivings, Bill. It seems the horrifying state around everywhere!
It leads me a great fear of waves forever, if I were that todder had such experience.

The stupidity of people never ceases to amaze.

Those are some pretty major waves! Excellent timing and capture, Bill, made even more so with the people standing right in front of that. But with a child? Pretty foolhardy I'd say.

Oh boy, I know just how you feel, living close to the sea give you a tremedous respect for the power of the ocean. V
