Clouds on the Horizon

North Berwick

I took my D700 with me during my evening walk with Mack. The first time for ages; usually I take my much smaller GH2.
The difference in size and weight is really noticeable, although I do like the feel of the D700 in my hands.
There was a rare meterological event today that caused the sky to turn blue, rather than the normal grey.
By the look of the clouds gathering on the horizon, however, it won't last for long.
By the way, Mack is in the bottom left, on his way home without me.

Beautiful scenic shot, fantastic sky. Guess the old full frame is still king. V

Wonderful light and colour in this lovely landscape...the fence leading into the image is great.

I love the inclusion of your walking partner :0) I'm happy you saw a blue sky for a while at least!!

Nice how the fence leads the eye up to the town. Great view with the hill and dramatic sky in the background. V

What preponderance of chimneys. Amazing sight. Yes the D700 does feel good and the viewfinder is spectacular. One or two of my friends have one. I'll bet that they (i.e. the D700s) become tedious to lug around after a short while. V

That's familiar, stop to take a photo and the dog just wanders on!

Know the feeling about the "feel" of the SLR - I get the same.

Blue, is that dangerous?

Such bright Mack, cannot see his face, he's so lovable though!
An excellent composed image by your D700, it's a beautiful picture, Bill!
