Nice set of pictures of a town I was in back at 1984 and did travel for a great part of Romania. The mood, the look,faces, people in churches, the ever present fear of spies, was very oppressive. A very educated gentleman,teaching french, spot my Nikon F camera and very politely ask me the favor to held my camera in his hands. He knew the camera, never had seen one but in pictures, it was his chance to once in his life to have in hands this impossible dream.I never forget his expression.But now, I know, it is over.
