As we turned over one of the fjords before landing at Constable Pynt (I am not sure if this is Hurry Fjord, which runs off Scoresbysund, or a bay in Scoresbysund – at this stage I was so busy taking photographs that I lost my bearings) the sea ice took on a strange form that I hadn’t seen anywhere else in Greenland.
