Detailing

My current approach.

Initial Exterior Detail:

1) Wash w/ water or ONR
2) Clay w/ ONR
3) Wash with water or ONR, wipe dry
4) Apply aggressive polish, if correcting paint, with PC and orange pad. Spend at least 5 min per section, and fully break down the polish. Only use a little polish, not alot. Don't apply pressure to the PC, let the speed of the pad build up heat to break down the product. Use on speed 5 or 6.
5) Wipe off with microfiber
6) Apply finishing polish (less aggressive), with white pad and PC. Wipe off w/ microfiber
7) Wipe down the entire area with a 50/50 solution of Isopropyl alcohol and water, to remove polish residue and fillers
8) Apply sealant, like Jetseal, with black pad and PC on 4.5
9) After it sets (15 min for Jetseal), buff out w/ PC and microfiber bonnet on sheepskin pad
10) OPTIONAL: If U want, do another coat of sealant. Wait for it to cure (20 min after buffing for Jetseal), apply 2nd coat of sealant, wait (15 min for Jetseal) and buff out
11) OPTIONAL: Apply a wax over the sealant, like Aquawax or Collinite or a carnauba.
11) Use Quik detailer like Showtime and a microfiber to wipe down the area for final shine

Maintenance of Initial Detail:

1) Once a month, use Aquawzx after washing
2) Once a year, reapply LSP (sealant layer)
