I only spent two days in the Kathmandu area after our descent from two weeks in Tibet. My primary impression of Nepal was of too many pot holes and dogs on the streets. On the flight home we joked about not being able to go ten feet anywhere on Kathmandu streets without encountering one or the other. They are easily the worst roads I've ever seen in Asia.
