Tibet was another awesome experience. Tibet is both amazing and a sad to visit, having been subjected to a brutal takeover and then total cultural dominance by the Chinese. And yet an incredible experience.

Wonderful gallery of a time long gone. The changes that occurred in Tibet between my visits in 1985 and 2014 were staggering.

First, a superb transfer work. Then great and colorful images of a land definitively not China. Great portraits and landscapes... I'm afraid that the hold of PRC is more and more strong since 1996...V.

All beautiful, vibrant images and almost all are still representative of the true Tibet as recently as 2018. However, the Chinese influence becomes steadily more pervasive as new roads, railways and other infrastructure developments continue, unabated.
