Bursts into flame. Explosive. Something a little frightening about what should be happy child's thing. Image stays with you. Haunting.

this is just marvelous. evokes so much.

An amazing image, Linda. Once again, scale incongruity comes into play -- that tiny figure on the bench watching the golden merrygoround is dwarfed by its setting. However the color here is warm and inviting, bathing that lone figure in its glow.
