Long Island: Updated 11/26/07 (Click individual image to see description.)

We left Georgetown on Great Exuma and headed for Long Island with the intention of staying there until we had a good "weather window" to sail to Conception Island. Well, our weather window never came and we did not feel comfortable making an open ocean passage in turbulent seas. We did have a great time at Long Island, however, and managed to catch a Cero Mackeral only a few feet from the boat!

Wow! Great pictures - the places you are visiting are stunning. Bet the fresh seafood is hard to beat too. Bit jealous... Sue and I are in Leicester for 9 months... a balmy minus 3degC, british food, sunshine expected in April, guess not all that much different... Stay safe. Happy Holidays!

Hey Guys - I just logged in to see what was new with you guys (as I read about an ice storm coming to DC)! As always, the pics are amazing; hopefully by now you are getting close to NC! You are both in our prayers, be safe and come home soon!

Need not say hoping you are having a good time. The pics you have shared with all tells the story. This is adventure of a life time. Don't know when you are heading back but sail safely. Happy Holidays whereever you are.

Hi,
As always you have beautiful pictures. You're missing the leaves here which aren't bad but probably not much of a loss considering your views. I hope you guys will have a safe trip back. I hope Pat makes it all the way back to CAT, but just NC will be good enough. I know you should be back by Christmas. Safe journey and happy holidays.
