On a brighter note in these troubled times ...

Dubai celebrates its summer with "Dubai Summer Surprises" - a heavenly shopping festival. Alas, this is also the time of year where the summer surprises mascot, Modhesh, is unleashed upon all of us. Behold this grinning mascot in its full glory, whether one likes its aesthetic charm or not, they have sprung up like mushrooms all over Dubai, visually assaulting the unsuspecting round every corner.
