Palatki Rock Art

Rock art at this site has accumulated over a period of 6,000 years. The oldest is a set of petroglyph scratch-like striations called hachures by archeologists. Petrographs have been drawn over these older markings over thousands of years. Petrographs are among the best preserved markings at this site. This site is located west of Sedona, Arizona USA.
