One of several Oregon Trail sites found in eastern Oregon. This one is located 3 miles (5 kilometers) off of Interstate 84 near a summit pass in the Blue Mountains. Images include views of the 1861 stage coach line that passed this way as well as original markings and grooves of the Oregon Trail itself. Also, there is an image of a rare "proper" grave of young boy who died of cholera along the trail. Graves were usually hidden to prevent desecration by indigenous Indians.
