Grimes Point Petroglyphs

Near Fallon, Nevada. Petroglyphs were carven on volcanic varnishes rocks over a period of about 7,000 years. It has over 1,000 individual glyphs. During the time mosty petroglyphs were carved the site was located on a small bluff on the edge of a large lake. The lake has since disappeared.
