Guanajuato is a beautiful, small colonial town nestled in the hills of central Mexico. A thriving gold and silver mining town in the early days of the Spanish colonies, Guanajuato is now a cultural and educational treasure that has maintained its colonial architecture and charm. It is the home of the Universidad de Guanajuato, one of the oldest universities in America. I was very lucky to have gone to college there.
