Well, its a copy of Serbian medieval monastery style called "moravska" school (which was copy of medieval european style called "romanic" :P ) It was build in 1920 and 1930's (copy of a copy, which was probably copy of something :))

My mother scared me when I was little "if you don't go to school, you will live under the bridge" :) I suppose that homeless people live under the bridge, but didn't see any.

I cannot believe how ornate these pillars are for "under a bridge"! Where I am from, you don't want to go under a bridge (the trolls live there-just kidding!) in the daytime and definately not at night! The design on the pillars looked so familiar, though, and so much so that I had to look up pictures from the Alhambra, in Granada, Spain. To me, the intricately carved pillars are typical of the Moorish decorative style and influence.
