Thanks for reminding us that those lost are not being forgotten.. I didnt have the oportunity to be at Ground Zero on 9/11 this year as I had in past years. Your pictures allow me to feel that I was in person marking this tragic anniversary.. Stuart

Thanks for these wonderful photographic reminders of what was lost and for your other work... ; ) As blocky and originally unappealing as the buildings were, they were beautiful too, for the people they employed, the grand vistas they allowed from the roof and the fantastic compass they provided whenever one was lost in the concrete canyons as needed to find a fixed point for directional reference. As a kid I saw them go up from across the bay in Staten Island, as an adult saw them come down on CNN from DC where we had our own airborne perils. Let's not overlook the causes of why this happened.
