Bush has not done a thing to make us safer. He lied about getting us into a war. What is the noble cause for his war, Mr Bush? What in the hell are you doing with our country? You showed that you are incompetent with everything you have touched. Ged Bless america and God help America. We need it on both counts

Those are some ridiculous facts there my friend. If you would've done even the slightest bit of research, you would've known the facts. As far as Hussein goes, that was Jr. helping dad finish the goal. Whether this administration was rep, dem or even green I'd be against it.

Um, I hate to get political, but I don't think the 911 attack was Bushes' fault (what was done in the name of it was ie:Iraq ). I also remember that under Clinton we did make cruise missle strikes and incursions into Afghanistan. I think what will be our own fault is, if we let "Terrorism" terrorize and divide us. Then those guys win.

Todd Walker must have been sleeping for a long time:
a preemptive strike against afghanistan would never have avoided 9/11 because till today the superpower was not able to find bin laden - and that most terrorists have been saudiarabians knows almost the whole world, but not those who watch foxnews only

You say that 9/11 could have been stopped by Bush because he had information that something was going to happen? Well how would you libs have reacted if Bush had told the country that Osama Bin Laden was about to attack us so he was going to perform a preemptive strike against Afghanistan to stop it? I can tell you how -- the same way your bunch have reacted to the invasion of Iraq. Bush invaded Iraq and removed Hussein from power to protect the American people because that is his number one job right now.

Please tell me how you can talk out of both sides of your mouth and on the one hand blame Bush for 9/11 because he didn't do anything, then in the next breath blame him for going into Iraq and stopping Hussein before HE attacked us? The fact is you would hate Bush no matter what he did because he is a Republican. If a Democrat had done exactly the same things that Bush has done in the last 4 years, you would be singing his praises. Open your mind a little and realize that everything isn't black and white. You can't assume that just because someone is conservative they are bad and just because they are liberal they are good. It doesn't work that way.

First, the Clinton administration (and the American people as a whole) ignored the obvious threat from Bin Laden and company. They did almost nothing for eight long years while the attacks continued and grew in scope. Then, Al Gore prolonged the legal fight concerning the election when he knew he had no chance to win. This drew resources away that could have been used to look at Bin Laden.

Then after 8 months the attacks occured and who is blamed by the left? Bush of course. The fault with 9/11 reast with:

1. Clinton, who was so busy defending himself he couldn't focus on anything else.
2. Gore, for reasons above.
3. The American people, who were so busy spending money from the 90's boom they didn't want to see the growing threat.

And those are the facts.
