Tower of Lights Sept 11 2003

NYC will never be the same. On September 11 for the rest of my life I will remember the terrible tragedy that fell upon our wonderful city. After 2 years it still hurts and in order for me to survive and cope I will take and continue to take photographs of LIFE and times of our wonderful city. Since there was only one night to see the Tower of lights that represent the World Trade Center, I walked around parts of the city all night to help fill the void that is NYC ...

Dear Dave, your site of THE LIGHTS GAVE ME A SIGN THAT MY BROTHER, RICO'S SPIRIT IS ALIVE!..He is a twin, my brother, Ron was in Tower 1...as was RicO...Ron was on the 26th floor..Richie was on the 106th..Cantor Fizgerald....after 911..WE BOTH 'SAW' SIGNS THAT RICO'S SPIRIT WAS WITH US....THE LIGHTS WERE A SIGN...WE BOTH FELT COMFORT IN SEEING THEM .....WE HAVE A HOUSE UPSTATE in Cairo,N.Y.. Ron put TWO 30ft. flag poles up 1 for my father,who passed away 15yrs. ago...the other was for rico....we had special spot lights on them. That first July 4th after 911...we were up there...we looked up that night and SAW THE TWO BEAMS FROM THE 2 FLAG POLES 'MEETING' IN THE SKY!!!WE WERE IN AWE!...BUT THE MOST AMAZING THING HAPPENED...ME & RON WENT TO THE BACK OF THE HOUSE...THE FLAGPOLE FOR RICO IN FRONT OF THE HOUSE..WITH THE SPOT LIGHT ON IT.....SPLIT THE POLE IN HALF.....THERE WERE 2 BEAMS OF LIGHT THAT REACHED UP TO THE SKY!!!!!ME & MY BROTHER..WERE GIVEN OUR OWN TWIN LIGHTS!!!!!SO AS YOU CAN SEE...THIS SITE IS A GIFT TO ME!!!!GOD BLESS YOU..I HOPE YOU WILL RESPOND, MARIA
