These two American Robins are trying to keep a Gophersnake from a nest. Not all pics here are very good, but they tell a story. The robins would take turns; one would entice the snake away from the nest and the other would dive bomb the snake from the other direction. I watched for a long time, but did not see the end of the conflict. The snake did end up further from the nest than he started..
