Here is the top tank, and no complaints from the neighbours!
The significance of this remark is that the neighbour in the
house in the background of this shot complained at VCAT about
the Services Cupboard. I believed that the complaint was voiced,
not because the Services Cupboard was of concern, but that she
judged that it was a feature of my plans on which I was vulnerable
under the Planning Scheme. Her complaint was easily neutralized
by pointing out to the tribunal that the tank would stand between
her boundary and the Services Cupboard, and she had not thought
to complain about that. I didn't realise at the time just how
much higher the Services Cupboard would be than the tank.
Neither did anyone else.
