Hi Anna , i have got much better results using a tripod with this lens , i have done some shots outside handheld but using it close up the DoF is so shallow that the tripod
definitely makes it easier .

Penny do you have to use a tripod with the 180 macro? Do I have to repeat that this is another fantastic shot? The pink background is very nice against the blue water. Now what sorcery did you do here....

Gotta start saving my pennies for an L lens!!!! Your drips are way better than my drops! (Not that I think the lens is the cure-all... it'll just keep me from using that as an excuse. ;)
