Water shots always move me, it's amazing how
powerful and pretty water is, in all of it's many forms...
But rain, rain is my favorite way to visit water! 3Cheers!
Encore!

Oh my gosh, this is great Penny! Seriously you find the most interesting things. Also seems like your getting good mileage on your favourite lens! Keep the the awesome job you have done!

I was standing out in a lightning filled thunderstorm many years ago with my camera mounted on my tripod trying to get some shots and I recall my neighbours making disparaging remarks about my sanity.
I know the feeling!
This is a great picture and well worth going 'above and beyond'.

OH Penny, I have no words for this. I never saw a ladies mantle photographed so beautifuly. I love the little droplets on the edge of the leaf.

Nice macro! The water added more depth to the image.

Superb photo. The green, the crispness of detail, the droplets perched just so... excellent!

The greenness of the image and the water drops are first rate.

Beautiful work - crisp, well framed and great DOF.

another fine photo - doesn't alchemilla mollis just beg for water on it...somehow it's the ultimate rainy day plant.

It's hard to tell normal from where I stand. I'd take pictures in the rain here, assuming it ever did rain. I guess in 2 months, when I'm walking around on my lunch hour in the 46ºC heat looking for an image, we can discuss normal again.
In the mean time...I very much like the richness of this image. I love natural monotone images like this.

It'normal Penny, it's normal...
Great shot btw especially with an umbrella in the hands ;-)

Well we could go into a discussion of what is considered normal verses abnormal...but we wont go into a lengthy analysis. However IMHO, of course this is normal behaviour.

I have been known to go outside in pajami's to shoot an image on Sunday's when neighbors are home, lie on the ground to shoot for that image in my minds eye! Imagine a middle aged woman, how that appears! Normal...SURE! Maybe not to my neighbors. LOL!

And just look at the splendid creation you are showing us today as a result of normal behaviour.
