End Of A Long Day

A bit of a candid. I caught these folks, a bit worn out at the end of a long weekend, at Fort Macon, NC. These are members of the 11th NC Brigade taking a break in the shade after a long weekend of active duty.

Canon EOS 350D

I knew this was taken at Fort Macon! I recognized the arch.

Just went through these in reverse.. you had some good advice. The two individual crops have quite different stories.

I just enlarged this, trying to figure out what the woman in green is pointing at. You could do that and re-crop it and end up with an entirely different composition which makes the viewer think about who is the hidden person represented only by a hat and hands. Two really great and very different photos from the same shot.

The triangular sliver of sun-lit grass at the bottom really affects the composition in a most successful way. Great job.

Timeless. Love the brick wall and his exhaustion shows. Gr8 capture.
