The Meka II is a half-scale replica of a 17th century, two-masted pirate brigantine and is armed with six cannons. Licensed as a privateer by the state of North Carolina, she is captained by Beaufort pirate Horatio Sinbad. He guided her to victory during the Americas' Sail race in Montego Bay, Jamaica in 2002
