Jean - our Mi'kmaq Indian Guide

Jean takes us on a tour of the petroglyphs area in Kejimkujik (pronounced Ke-jim-koo-jick) National Park . A native, she works hard to keep the culture and language of the Mi'kmaq (pronounced "Mig-ma")Indian alive. The Mi'kmaq have been here for over 800 years.

Nice pic! But one comment on the associated info: the Mi'kmaq have been in the Kejimkujik area for between 4500 and 5000 years - not 800.

How do I know? Jean was your guide - she's my wife :)

Best regards
Dan
