A very dry winter and spring in Moraine Park

The Front Range around Estes Park is very dry. Wildfires have occurred in Boulder and near Denver (by mid-April 2008). I've been visiting the now dry streams in Rocky Mountain National Park for 30 years and have never before seen the streams this dry in April.
