At around 7:00 a.m., I saw a hungry-looking lion walking quickly towards my safari car. Peter told me not to panic. Hakuna Matata! (DON’T WORRY).

Armed only with my camera, I pressed the shutter every 10 seconds through the open window of the car.

But when the lion was walking parallel to the car and only six feet away from me and there was only the car door separating him and a potential human breakfast, I stopped shooting (and breathing) so as not to arouse his attention.
