The Wat attracted my attention as I was taking some photos of the remarkable bamboo bridge nearby. It was a 'Buddha theme park'; kitsch statuary of aspects of the Buddha,s life, and Deities from the Hindu pantheon. The otherwise fairly ordinary interior of the wat was transformed by the striking directional lighting from the 1/2 open door
