Taken from Beckwith Township, ON
Lest we think that there are only a few stars in the night sky; here is a reminder of how full it really is.
The stars look like they are on top of one another; but in reality, they are light years apart; and only appear to be shoulder to shoulder because we are looking deep into one of our galaxy's (The Milky Way Galaxy) spiral arms.
35 x 105 second subs (61 Minutes accumulative exposure); ISO 1600; F/5 (aperture mask used).
Equipment: Nikon D7200; Nikon 300mm F/4E PF ED VR lens; Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer mini-German Equatorial Mount; Vello Intervelometer; Gitzo 5-Series Tripod; Really Right Stuff BH-40 Ball Head.
Shot in RAW; converted to TIFF files using ACR; Stacked in DSS; processed in CS6.
