Monarch Butterfly

Beckwith Township
My Backyard

A flurry of activity caught my attention. A number of different warblers came flying through my backyard. I managed to get photos of the Magnolia and Black-throated Green Warblers; but there were at least two other types that did not hang around long enough to either ID or photograph. I had about 3 minutes of intense activity; and then it was over a suddenly as it began.

As I was walking back to the house, this Monarch Butterfly landed a few metres in front of me. Well, if one can't be good; best to be lucky!
