I live in eastern ontario near the Que. border, On Feb 4/08 I watched what
looked like a half sparrow half robin sitting on my belcony. It was a stuby little
brown bird, the beek was not at all like a robin, and it's belly was red.It was
way too small to be a robin unless it was a baby , but I cannot believe that for this time of the year, it was not a cardinal or any other bird, that I know of, any suggestions? come spring.
