I loved my RX-7 which I bought new in 1993
replacing it was a bit traumatic, but after 6 months consideration the Mercedes just seemed a perfect move ...so far I am delighted
once I drove its 7 speead automatic, I understand why the AMG version of the SLK is not offered with a manual ...I have not had an automatic transmission car in > 20 years, but I have to concede that this 7 speed version really does a better job without my direct input
