ICG GP40 3028 lead 3 other units (2 are GM&O) on a northbound pig train north of Gilman, IL. The old coaling towers are in the distance. I was told that the IC had the longest stretches of tangent track in Illinois, and there were only two curves between Chicago and Centrailia. The first one is visable about mid train.
