I was there that day and took a picture of the General. He was dressed in fatigues wearing a fatigue cap with four stars, tan shirt and wearing combat boots, no hand grenade that he was famous for. In my photo, I also have the officer with the scrambled eggs on this hat but I never have found out who he was. Cpl Bird identifies him correctly.

the gen is directly between the propeller blades in the brown shirt,and the hi shine on his combat boots.also if you look closely he and the man to his right are older then the rest of the men.the plane he is standing by is an rf51 mustang.i am standing to the far riht in the picture with my hands in my pockets,and no hat.i was the crew chief of the aircraft.
