One of my first attempts to tell a story in a picture. The walking man speeds on, the other is resting. The walking man wears a suit, the other, grimy clothes. The walking man is carrying some shopping, all the other man has is an empty can of beer. The walking man's head is in the clear blue, erect and proud he walks on, the other man's head is pointing down and resting on the grimy grey concrete.
I wanted the focus on the man laying down, this way it draws our eye to him.

Very well told and capture. It is usually the guy on the street that remains invisible, but you have brought him into sharp focus, in more ways than one. V

Powerful! This is such a symbolic shot... and it's interesting to me how similar the men look, as if it could almost be the same man as he would appear in different circumstances. Excellent capture. Voted

Mate, this is superb picture! Simple and fancy. I like this contrast... streets are full of inspiration, just open our eyes.
