Try finding this place on a map. Just draw one line east from the northern tip of Madagascar, and one line south from the southern tip of India, and about where they intersect you'll find Diego Garcia. It's pretty much just a military base, but there are some really unspoiled tropical forests here. It was really beautiful. I think I would go nuts if I were stuck there for too terribly long, but each time I stopped through for one day at a time I wished that I could have stayed longer.
