Miller-Welch WMA - November 1, 2009

Michelle, Chazzy and I spent a couple hours birding the Miller Welch WMA this afternoon. The birding was slow as expected but we did find Yellow-rumps, Kinglets, and a covey of Quail. The highlight was a Cooper's Hawk that made a dive into the grass and then gave us looks as it flew off.

I always enjoy viewing your photos. Looks like you found a great place for a hike. I bet you found some sparrows in that foxtail millet!
