Chazzy and I had another great morning hiking the Central KY / Miller Welch WMA. We found White-throated, White-crowned, Song, Swamp and Field Sparrows along with lots of Yellow-rumped Warblers. Owlsey Lake contained our first Common Loon of the season as well as Snipe, Coots, and Mallards. At Lake Reba we found Ruddy Ducks, Cormorants, Mallards, and a huge raft of ducks at the upper end of the lake which the glare from the sun prevented scanning for new season birds.
