I had to work, and Mike was on his day off. I told him about the Airbus-380 landing around 930am @ LAX on 3/19/07 so he went out there and took over 50 pictures of it for us. I only attached the good pictures...but this was the 1st time the 380 landed in L.A, and i'm sure it won't be the last time. Not bad for an amateur photographer with the "all-powerful" Fuji S-5000!!! Thanks to Mike for climbing the walls of Ivory, climbing the side of the hills adjacent to the northside runway and getting dirty looks from the professional photographers, Airport PD, El Segundo PD and LAPD while taking the nice shots of the SCAREBUS! Glad I didn't have to take any leave and go bail you out from jail! The 1st (#001) shot of the Airbus was the best shot...and yes, he took it himself! In shot (032), you can see Mayor Villarigosa in the pink tie on the bottom of the picture in the middle too. =)
