Yaziddi woman

Ba'adre, Iraq

Another shot from yesterday.
Their are many differences between the Yaziddis and Kurds.
Their traditional costumes at first appear the same but
on spending more time with both groups the differences become apparent.

I am still trying to defeat the curse of the red X's.
I think some of these images are worth the effort though.



As part of my work herein Iraq, I am trying to update a gallery for the children.
Unfortunately it has been very irregular recently.
Please have a look if you have the time.
Some of the photos are outstanding considering most
of the children have never used a camera before.
