Here in Dohu it has been a little quite in the lead upto the elections.
However in the last 2 or days the flags have come out and the music begins.
Dohuk is a pro KDP stronghold. There was music and dancing in front of
the main KDP headquaters. Afterwards the cars drove off crowded with
excited youths waving the yellow of the party or the red, green and white
with yellow sun of the Kurdish flag.
