Honey bee feeding (Apis mellifera)

A honey bee (Apis mellifera) licking honeydew off a leaf.

Taken with my good old 10D - my 20D's shutter failed and I brought her to the hospital today... The girl at the counter asked "What shutter?" and I ended up explaining that SLRs have a shutter. Didn't really install any trust in this official Canon repair shop I hasten to add.

Canon EOS 10D ,Canon MP-E65mm f/2.8 1-5X Macro
1/30s f/13.0 at 65.0mm iso200 with Flash full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Nice shot, but horrid tail... hope it comes out okay as I'm sure it will. Just glad the counter person isn't the one doing the repair. :)
