A misty night at Quiarang

We spent the night near the top of Quiarang. I was trying to get either a sunset image or sunrise, quite the opposite that night. The low cloud came in from the left and within minutes I couldn’t see very far in front of me.

Except for the fact that the terrain is more rugged, it looks like the fog pouring in over the Marin Headlands on the north side of the Golden Gate. That yellow light is otherworldly.

One visits Quiarang for its rock formations but when the mist comes down, it makes all seem to be in an unusual dream world and Ann, I believe you've captured this world with your camera. V
