Veronica chamaedrys (germander speedwell, bird's-eye speedwell)

The plant opens its small, blue flowers at its earliest in May. The life of a flower is short: it is bright blue for just one day
- the next day it is already beginning to wilt, becoming reddish-red and wither in the evening. The blue color in it's intensity and depth is almost unique in Finnish nature.

Such a short lifespan.
Pretty flower and delicate capture.
Great isolation and photography.

That intense blue is so compelling (my favourite colour too). Beautiful sharp shot of this lovely flower. V

A delicate flower, perfectly captured with this blur and green background. V.
