We had a view to this lovely canal and were foolish enough to keep our windows open.
Got some nasty and such itchy bites from the local mosquitos - which they call zanzares.
Loved the gondolas, some of them were really pretty and nicely decorated.
It was wonderful to observe the gondola "traffic" from our window -
as you can see from this great shot which William got of a wedding couple:
