Rising sun painted the building of Libereria Sansoviniana with warm tones. The ornate vaulting of the magnificent library stairway is decorated with frescoes and gilded stucco.
The columns of San Teodoro (seen on the left) and San Marco marked the main entrance to Venice when the city could be reached only by sea.
It was amazing to be there before the crowds came!
