This "Expedition" through the countries of The Gambia, Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Togo, and Benin was truly a "National Geographic" journey -- rugged landscapes, primitive cultures, third-world existence and slave trade remnants and memorials. A tough trip and a gruelling pace, but an experience like no other.
(NOTE: This Gallery will be a "work in progress" for awhile. Right now it is by no means complete. I will be adding additional photos to this and other categories over time.)
