James, I'm using a 4 head Novatron set. I normally use 3 of the lights. Two are shot thru white umbrellas and the third has a set of barn doors attached. I shoot with one large homemade diffusion panel and put the light with the barn doors (high on the light stand and shooting downward) and one of the umbrellas behind the diffusion panel. I keep the third (umbrella) light very close to the subject and I set the battery pack at about 40% output. Thanks for the compliments! ;) I normally shoot 1/3 f-stop underexposed (in RAW mode)to keep from blowing out the highlights and then I adjust everything in Photoshop. Angie
