Vortex, Shanghai, China, 2006

I looked out at people, cars, at everybody living their lives, going to places they want to be. I made a circle with my camera, just to tell the world out there that I am here. Even if sometimes I want to forget you, I can't help but be drawn into you."

This is a nice image, but that blurb your wrote makes no sense and does little in the form of flattery to the image.

****Better late than never, Jen. Another wonderful memory from your now lost camera -- a marvelously whimsical image that makes a song out of the daily miseries of urban life. It is music for the eyes, Jen.

Energetic and lively! Great colors too.

It's an ever spinning spiral, Jen. Take comfort in the fact that you can use your wonderful imagination and artist's eye to spin it slightly your way.

Sharing the same sentiment as you, Jen. Keep getting caught in its big swirl, be it voluntarily or helplessly. I do wish for moments of "forget the world". But there's too much going on, it's hard to shut your senses and ignore them. Just don't lose your true self... Thanks for the thought and the emotion.
